I've decided to live my life by the adage that "Less is More." It does hold true for many things in my life. I should be weighing myself less often, exercising less often (meaning taking a day off so my muscles can repair and grow stronger).
Getting upset less often, freaking out less often,
having fewer :friends" so that the ones I truly have are quality and I can focus on them and myself.
Applying for fewer jobs is actually a good idea right now so that I can tailor each application and really apply for jobs I believe I will be good at.
Studying (actually cramming) less. By not having marathon study sessions and instead working and hour or two each day REALLY helps and made my grades go way up. I can't wait until the weekend to do all my work, a little a day helps and makes my work better and I retain more information.
Focusing less on guys. My life should not revolve around men and less desperation is always a good thing. Plus I don't want to fall into that trap of flirting with and getting with guys in relationships because I am so weak and hung up on needing to be needed.
Worrying less and planning less. Having an overall plan is great and vital but if one thing goes wrong an overly structured plan falls to shit. I have numerous back up plans and can adapt to anything now.
Having less debt is awesome and should not be discounted. Having less debt makes me smile inside and having a better credit score is so liberating.
Wearing less makeup actually makes my skin look better and it doesn't get everywhere. Too much makeup actually makes my eye wrinkles look bad (kids don't smoke!)
Less smoking (see!) and drugging makes me feel much better too. I still drink but I have cut back on that as well.
Fewer late nights also means more early mornings and more productivity. Yay!
Also expecting less. I like the whole "Hope for the best but expect the worse" thing. I shouldn't expect anyone to help me so when they do I am truly grateful and happy. I shouldn't expect a prince charming. Any decent guy who cares about me (and I actually like) is great. I can't expect to be perfect. Perfection doesn't exist. I don't expect to be rich, just not destitute.
Haha I just left for like an hour and forgot I was updating. At least I get my PTO and last wages paid out. Good for me.
