I am still in NYC. It has been a trip of ups and downs. I love being back in the city. It is in my blood and I am ready to come back. But i finally realized that some of my "friends" are just jealous harpies in diguise. Spending their visit with me trying to make me feel bad about how awesome their lives are and how pathetic I am. Hours of them telling me how they would never leave NY and how lame I am. How fabulous they are and how smart and pretty they are.

One girl last night talked about how her boss doesn't hire ugly assistants and only hires hot ones but she is smart and wasn't just hired because of her looks. A. not so hot and B. not so smart. We both have degrees in journalism but I am the only published writer and I am actually writing fulltime. She gets coffee for her boss and lives with her sister in Brooklyn.

It just gives me the drive I need to get back in shape and back in town.
